Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Apr 04, 2023

In Tears of the Kingdom's Tarrey Town, the storehouse's door is closed, but players get it open for a nice surprise.

In Breath of the Wild, players were tasked with building Tarrey Town as one of the most complex side quests in the game. Fans were happy to see that the town is still standing in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Hudson Construction has been extremely important as he's rebuilt most of Hyrule.

While exploring Tarrey Town in Tears of the Kingdom, players will soon find out that they cannot enter Hudson and Rhonson's storehouse as it seems something is blocking it from the inside. This guide will show players how to open the stuck storehouse door in Tarrey Town.

Link can try to open the door by Rhondson's counter in Tarrey Town, but unfortunately, it is closed as it seems something is blocking it from the other side. In order to get inside the storehouse, players must find another way in.

There is a cave underneath Tarrey Town, its entrance is directly north of the storehouse - over the fence, on the edge of the location; to reach the cave, gamers must either glide or climb down.

The tunnel is quite small and straightforward. Players must go deeper into it until they reach the end where the Bubbul Frog is located. Before continuing, gamers should shoot the Bubbul Frog to collect the Bubbul Gem. Then, they have to get on the rock podium and activate the Ascend ability.

The cave is located directly underneath Rhondson and Hudson's storehouse, so Link will ascend right inside.

Once inside, gamers will learn that a President Hudson sign has fallen over and is now blocking the door. They can remove the sign using the Ultrahand ability, allowing Rhondson to get back into the storehouse.

Even though opening the storehouse door isn't an actual side quest in Tears of the Kingdom, it grants players access to a special item: the President Hudson cutout.

It turns out that Rhondson was thinking about throwing out the various President Hudson cutouts inside the storehouse, but she'll gladly give them to Link. From then on, players can do whatever they'd like with them as they will always be available on the side of the storehouse in Tarrey Town.

Players can fuse the cutout with a shield to create a President Hudson Shield. They can also fuse it with their weapons to create a President Hudson Guster, which works like a fan and increases the weapon's attack power by 6, making it a better alternative compared to the Korok Frond and the wooden board.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
